Opening her bakery has been Julie’s dream for the past 30 years. She learned how to bake with her grandmother as a young child. She grew up, became a Mother to four children of her own, and loved to make fabulous birthday cakes for them each year. Those cakes, along with amazing baked goods and delicious treats that she made for school fundraisers and as gifts for family and friends earned her high praise and lots of encouragement to open her bakery. While that’s exactly what she wanted, she also knew that it just wasn’t the right time. She held tight to that dream for thirty years while she worked as a Registered Nurse until she realized she could wait no more, it was time. It was time to retire.
It was time for Stella’s Sweet Boutique in Brevard, NC to become reality.
